How to register to participate?
To register, follow the register link at the top right of the platform and complete the form. Note that it is necessary to check the box "By registering, you accept the General Conditions of Use" in order to be able to go further in the registration.
The name and pseudonym fields are public and appear on your public profile as well as alongside your proposals, comments and support:
If you wish to remain anonymous, you can provide a name and an identifier which does not reflect your first and last name;
If you want to contribute on behalf of an organization (association, company, etc.), you can put the name of this organization as a name and / or pseudonym.
Your email address remains private, including platform administrators.
Before you can contribute, you must validate your email address by clicking on the link in the email that was sent to you after registering; Remember to check your spam emails if you don't receive a confirmation email from the platform. All you have to do is connect with the Connect https://aftercovidafrica.org/users/sign_in link at the top right of the platform.
How to create a proposal?
First of all, you need to login https://aftercovidafrica.org/users/sign_in to the platform with your account. If you don't already have one, please follow the registration process described above.
When you are on the list of proposals for the desired consultation, you can add your own proposal by clicking on the "New proposal +" button.
You indicate the title and the content of your proposal, in 1500 characters maximum.
A comparison step highlights the previous propositions which could be similar to yours:
you can then support them and browse them by clicking on their title;
if you feel that your proposal is different, you can continue to publish it by clicking on the "My proposal is original" button.
You have 24 hours after submitting your proposal to modify it.
How do I report inappropriate content?
If you notice that a proposal falls outside the Moderation Charter of this participatory platform, you can report it to the administrators of the platform by clicking on the flag visible in the title of the proposal, next to the name of its author. You are then asked to specify the problem and say how this content seems inappropriate to you.
